Cancellations and refunds

Cancel any time

Sign in to your account and choose Billing, plan or cancel. You don't need to contact us. Cancelling stops all future payments. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and envelopes you've paid for are still sent.

Every plan starts with a free month. Cancel before it ends and you won't be charged for your plan. (Outside the US, $2 postage is charged at sign-up for the free month's envelope.)

Skip or pause instead

If you only need a break, you can skip next month's envelope, or pause a monthly plan and resume it later, from your account.

Refunds

Each letter is written and printed for you personally, so once a month's envelope has been prepared it can't be refunded.

• 6-month and yearly plans: if you cancel, the months you have already paid for are still sent; unused months are not refunded.
• Charged by mistake: write to us within 30 days and we'll refund it.
• Lost or damaged envelopes: see our shipping and delivery policy.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show them.
